3 Bedroom Cottage in Traverse Bay

Experience the shores of Lake Winnipeg and it's breathtaking views! The family friendly 4 season cottage is located on a quiet crescent in Traverse Bay, just 1.5 hours from Winnipeg. Swim, fish, hike, mountain bike in the summer, hunt in the fall, and cross county ski or ride your snowmobile in the winter. Try your luck catching one of the trophy walleye or relax on the covered porch with a book and a glass of wine. The beautiful outdoor space and our NEW Game Room is yours to explore (available May to last September weekend).
THE SPACE

The Space:
The year around cottage features vaulted ceilings, a covered porch, a great fireplace, and play areas for the children.
We include WI-FI, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video for enjoyment. Your devices can be connected to watch anything on your phone or tablet on the TV as well. There is also a large collection of DVD's for the rainy days and winter month.
SUN ROOM
- Welcome to the cottage. This space provides plenty of storage for your outdoor gear as well as a space to enjoy good company and a cup of coffee.
- You will find a play area with toys, table and chairs inviting your children to play.
KITCHEN AND DINING
- You will find most appliances in our kitchen. Microwave, Keurig machine, Blender, toaster just to name a few. There is also a regular coffee maker if you prefer to use loose coffee. Bring your favorite brand, but we are providing some coffee and tea to get you started. The cupboard is also stocked with basic spices and cooking oil for your convenience.
- The kitchen has a coffee bar, you can also use to work on your computer.
- The dining table seats 8 people. Enjoy the comfortable seating during your family meal.
- A Water cooler with one full jug of water is provided for you, if you need more the container can be exchanged at the local store (for a fee). The water from our well is safe to drink.
LIVING ROOM
- Take a seat by the fire place and look out of the window. There are cozy furniture inviting you to sit back and relax. Smart TV and DVD player are provided.
BATHROOM
- We have two bathrooms, towels and wash cloths are supplied. There is plenty of room for your cosmetic and personal items.
2x GARDEN BEDROOM (Nestled Inn + Little Lodge)
- Both bedrooms are furnished with a queen size bed (all lines are provided).
Master Bedroom (Kings Inn)
- This bedroom is very roomy and light. You will find a walk in closet, private bathroom and direct access to the back deck. The King size bed is already made for you.
OUTDOOR
- The front Porch is covered and has comfortable seating. Enjoy this space even during rainy days.
- The yard boost a large deck. Here you will find comfy furniture, BBQ and large dining table.
- The fire pit is a great space to gather around in the evening and enjoy a classic smore.
- Children can enjoy the outdoor play area with sandbox, play kitchen, chalkboard and extra seating.
- Lots of lawn games like badminton, bean bag toss and Connect four will keep you entertained.
GAME SHED - only available from May Long weekend to last September weekend
- Enjoy a round of Ping Pong or Air hockey. Compete in a Nerf gun battle or just enjoy a round of dart.
- We also have some books, puzzles and board games available for you to enjoy.
PARKING
- Park your car in the driveway or under the carport. Bring your ATV/side by side or boat, there is plenty of roam to park your toys.
CHILDREN
- We have a high chair, kids cutlery and dishes available.
- Plenty of indoor and outdoor toys (only during summer) are waiting for your children.
PETS
- We are pet friendly. Food/water dishes and a bed will wait for your four legged family member. There is an additional fee of $50, we have a 2 pet maximum.
GUEST ACCESS
- Guest access
You will have access to the entire cottage, with the exception of a small storage shed. There is plenty of storage for food, clothing and toys available in our cottage.

Summary: Spent a couple nights at this cottage. Excellent amenities, the games room was so much fun and we enjoyed a fire in the firepit. We would definitely rent this location again.

Summary: We stayed 4 days in this wonderful cabin. It was clean, the interior was beautiful, beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked with spices, oil, paper towels, coffee,... The shed outside was full of fun activities for young and old. The small shed had lots of outside toys. There was a toy barbecue with all sorts of food and cutlery which our toddler loved. There were inside toys in the sunroom with a small kid sized table and chairs. Perfect stay for a family. The house and yard are well taken care of. These owners love their, house their guests and it shows. Literally everything is carefully thought out and constructed. Immaculate vacation home!

Summary: We loved everything about this property -it was beautiful, clean, well -designed, fully equipped. We loved the front and back decks, loads of seating options including a great front swing. The games room was fabulous and enjoyed by kids from 4-12 and adults too! Honed our ping-pong skills! The campfire area at the back provided an evening of s'mores and fun. Beds & pillows all were comfy and the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom and walk -in closet were amazing 😍. Thanks to the friendly and responsive owners! - Kathy and Doug

Summary: We had a great stay and Anja and Uwe’s place! The cottage was exactly as advertised. It was perfect for three couples and two dogs. It was well appointed, and very clean. Anja and Uwe were great hosts, and very quick to respond to any questions. We had an issue where the furnace wasn’t working when we arrived, and Uwe drove up and fixed it immediately. Would definitely recommend this place for your stay in the area!

Summary: We had a great stay at the Richter 's cabin which was amazing ! the cabin had the beach vibe with the interior design and the game room was so much fun. It was nice to have so many choices of beaches as well! We want to rent next year for sure!

Summary: From the moment we arrived, we were very happy as our expectations were exceeded around every corner. This property is immaculate. Two decks for relaxing, the games room and the yard were highlights. Inside - the cottage was super clean, with plenty of room and supplies. The kitchen and bathrooms were exactly what was needed. We absolutely loved the property and are hoping to stay here again next summer.
